Phoebe Fangyuan Li is a published fashion photographer and award-winning filmmaker currently based in Singapore.
Originally from Yunnan, China, Phoebe moved to New York at the age of 18 to study. After graduating from New York University, she earned a Master’s degree in Filmmaking from New York Film Academy. Her background across photography, film and production has shaped her visual language—combining fashion imagery with narrative, atmosphere and emotional tension.
Phoebe has worked across New York, Amsterdam and Singapore, with experience in fashion week productions and editorial collaborations. Her work has been published in titles including Vogue and Flanelle and her short film N.O.T News won “Best Comedy Short” at the Los Angeles Independent Short Awards.
With a cinematic approach to fashion photography, Phoebe creates images that are not only style-driven, but also emotionally observant. Her work often explores identity, femininity, movement, intimacy and the quiet tension between people and their surroundings.
Drawing from her multicultural background and experiences across Asia, Europe and the United States, Phoebe strives to bring a diverse, sensitive and contemporary perspective to fashion image-making.
